My background includes providing healthcare to those in underserved areas of east Arkansas and Memphis. The opportunity to be a part of the Church Health team was a good fit for me. Working with Church Health has provided me with the ability to give back to the community in which I live.

My interests include integrating mindful meditation and yoga postures in clinical care to help maintain a balanced life. This is parallel to Church Health’s Model for Living.

Banjul Covington
APRN

I am Banjul Covington, a native Memphian. I am the proud mommy of two yorkies, Pynnie and Poncho. I am the oldest of two girls and twin boys. I knew from a very early age that I wanted to work in the healthcare field. I always “doctored” on my siblings whenever I got the opportunity.

I graduated with my MSN from the Loewenburg School of Nursing at the University of Memphis in 2006. My past experiences include pediatrics, retail convenience care, family practice and a brief time in pain management.

I am grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of the Church Health team where I can help make a difference in the lives of those who may not otherwise be able to get appropriate healthcare.

Dr. Collins Rainey

Upon completion of seminary, Dr. Rainey attended medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center and completed his residency at the University of Tennessee Family Medicine Program where he served as Chief Resident. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
