About Culinary Medicine

Church Health is proud to be the first organization in Memphis to offer Culinary Medicine continuing medical education programming for both medical practitioners and students.

Developed by Dr. Timothy Harlan, founder of Tulane University’s Goldring Center for Culinary Medicine, Culinary Medicine is a scientific, evidence-based curriculum centered on nine general principles that follow the guidelines of the Mediterranean Diet.

About the CMEs

Along with preparing and eating a delicious, nutritious meal during class in our purpose-built teaching kitchen at Crosstown Concourse, you’ll gain the skills you need to integrate practical nutrition advice and counsel into your medical practice.

Each module counts for a minimum of 4 CME credit hours with completion of online and classroom portions.
