Mental Health First Aid Training
July 18, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Did you know that you are more likely to encounter someone experiencing an emotional or mental crisis than someone having a heart attack? The good news is that you can help them.
ABOUT THE CLASS
Church Health Behavioral Health will present a free Mental Health First Aid USA training from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18. During this training, you will learn a 5-step action plan to offer initial help to people demonstrating symptoms of a mental illness or a crisis, and you will be equipped with the tools to connect them with the appropriate professional, peer, social or self-help care.
Registration deadline is July 10, 2017.
The training will be in Church Health Community Room, located on the first floor of Church Health’s home at Crosstown Concourse. All parking at Crosstown is free.
The class is free, but if you would like to help sustain the clinical and wellness services of Church Health, please select the Donation ticket at checkout.
