Administrative & Event Management Intern

Works with Executive Assistants, providing additional administrative support for programmatic projects, events and internal meetings. Responsibilities will focus on two roles: internal meeting facilitation and event management. Meeting facilitation role entails: helping gather agenda items, taking meeting minutes for distribution, emailing meeting attendees with reminders and meeting materials, and assisting with meeting room setup. Event management role entails:  helping create planning documents i.e. event timeline, helping to coordinate planning meetings, assist with day-of event execution, assist with post event activities and debriefings. Attention to details is critical. May work with other work areas, depending on the nature of the event, to accomplish responsibilities. Working hours are within normal business hours, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Ability to drive to event venue is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
