Hometown: Memphis, TN
Undergrad School / Major: Mississippi State University / Biology
My name is Sam Nieman and I work as the medical scholar for the first floor of the medical clinic. I work to help check-in and triage patients while also running various lab tests also. I love working with Church Health because I love the way they strive to treat all people and patients with compassion and respect. I also enjoy interacting with patients as I am able to learn from them and serve them at the same time. I was born and raised here in Memphis, Tennessee and I am excited to move back and serve people in my hometown. I recently graduated from Mississippi State University where I majored in Biology and minored in English. I am looking forward to learning about the medical field and healthcare industry, while also gaining hands-on experience as well. It will be beneficial to see how a clinic is run through a firsthand perspective. I hope to build an array of interpersonal relationships with a diverse group of people working in the medical field. Beyond science and medicine, I also enjoy multiple creative hobbies such as writing and painting because I believe creativity is an essential skill in every facet of life, but especially working in the medical field. Utilizing the knowledge and experience gained at Church Health, I hope to become a Physician’s Assistant, and I also dream of becoming a published author.
