Health care administration interns will be placed in one of three departments: Medical Operations, Referrals, or Quality Improvement. Interns will work on special projects to become familiar with daily operations and the “behind the scenes” work of management and program development. Opportunities may include: working on quality improvement projects; running and collecting data; developing patient/staff education and training materials; gathering diagnostic test reports; assisting with auditing projects; assisting with the surveying of patients and/or working within the referrals department.

Note: This is not a clinical internship and applicants should not expect to be spending time in the clinic space or shadowing physicians.
