The Burden of Being Sick
Church Health is offering a new curriculum, The Burden of Being Sick: Faith Responses to Racism in Health Care. These six sessions look at the racial disparities in health care in the context of how the Bible helps us to understand this complex topic. The Bible study is especially helpful to majority white churches who are ready to begin discussing topics that may be outside their comfort zones.
