Kitchen Rentals

The Church Health Nutrition Hub commissary kitchen and dining room can be rented for commercial or private use. Pricing is dependent on scope.

Commissary Kitchen

Church Health’s facility at Crosstown Concourse includes a 400-square-foot commissary kitchen for professional, healthy food production. 

Our commissary kitchen is a shared space for long-term renters who aren’t ready for their own kitchen. We don’t offer one-time rentals but are committed to supporting local businesses and promoting healthy eating.

The commissary kitchen rents for $25 per hour, three-hour minimum, pre-reserved with deposit. 

  • Add-ons require an additional charge.
  • We have special rates for non-profits and Church Health partners.

Requirements

  1. Application to be reviewed and approved by Church Health
  2. Product line and menu in accordance with Church Health healthy nutrition guidelines
  3. State of TN business registration
  4. Shelby County business license (some exceptions)
  5. General liability insurance with Church Health named as an additional insured or workers’ compensation (for companies with five or more employees)
  6. Department of Agriculture Permit (depending on type of product, attained after you are in the kitchen)
  7. ServSafe certification for all workers (can be obtained within first weeks of rental)
  8. Deposit equal to one-month’s rent, $250 minimum
  9. Orientation, equipment training and safety overview provided by Church Health

Rental Includes

  • Access to some smallwares (bowls, utensils, sheet pans, small equipment)
  • Access to loading dock
  • Use of carts and speedracks
  • Trash and recycling
  • Pest control services
  • Wifi
  • Day-of access to walk-in refrigeration and freezer

Add-ons:

  • Dry storage space
  • Walk-in refrigerator and freezer space

Dining Room

The Nutrition Hub Dining Room can be rented for meetings or in conjunction with a kitchen rental event. Pricing is dependent on scope.

  • Includes access to LED TV monitor, through HDMI cable.
  • Seating capacity varies according to COVID-19 guidelines.
