“I can see my husband now,” Ana Medina said, “and my children.”
Ana’s eyesight was severely limited. She couldn’t drive, she had trouble finding the sidewalks when walking towards a store, and she couldn’t see the white lines on the street that would keep her safe as she navigated on foot.
All that has changed. As a patient of Church Health Eye Care, Ana received glasses that restored her independence. She’s driving now—which is a great help to her family.
She laughs at the best part. “Before, I couldn’t see my children’s facial features. Everything was blurry. But now, when they make faces at me, I can say, ‘I can see you.’”
Visiting Church Health Eye Care and getting her glasses gives Ana new confidence and hope.
“I’m grateful to God and to Church Health,” Ana says. “Others shouldn’t wait as long as I did. Come in. Do what you need to do to receive care.”
