At Church Health we know that hope, health, and healing happen when we consider the whole person. That’s why we connect the dots across faith, medicine, movement, work, emotions, nutrition, and friends and family. Whether caring for our patients or reaching out to the community, we hold high the dignity and worth of each person.

Clinpro

Clinpro 5000 is a high-fluoride toothpaste that protects against cavities and reduces sensitivity. Use it at night after brushing and flossing with regular toothpaste. Apply a pea-sized amount of Clinpro to a dry toothbrush, brush thoroughly, then swish and spit without rinsing. Avoid eating or drinking for 30 minutes afterward for optimal results.

Dry Mouth

What is Dry Mouth? Also called xerostomia, dry mouth occurs when the salivary glands don’t produce enough saliva to keep your mouth wet. Saliva is essential, as it prevents tooth decay, enhances sense of taste and aids in swallowing and healthy digestion. A dry mouth can contribute to poor overall health.

Electric Toothbrush

Electric toothbrushes use rotating movements, oscillating technology or sonic vibrations to help remove bacteria, plaque and food debris. While a manual toothbrush can do the job, many of our favorite electric toothbrushes have features—from pressure sensors to timers—that deliver real-time feedback and provide guidance as you brush. And research shows that people who use an electric toothbrush may have healthier gums and experience less tooth decay over time.

Sensitive Toothpaste

Sensitive toothpaste helps reduce discomfort by blocking pain signals and strengthening enamel. Key ingredients include potassium nitrate, which shields nerve endings from irritants, and fluoride, which strengthens teeth. Strontium chloride can also help by blocking openings in dentinal tubules to reduce sensitivity to hot or cold. Use desensitizing toothpaste twice daily for about two weeks to feel a difference, and pair it with a soft-bristle toothbrush and fluoride mouth rinse for best results.
